You
Now your uterus is reaching up to your ribcage, you may be feeling a little breathless. With so many new-baby thoughts whirling round your brain, you may find you're more forgetful about day-to-day things. Don't be surprised if your breasts occasionally leak; it's just colostrum, the nourishing pre-milk your baby drinks in the first few days.
Your Baby
As well as being able to open their eyes, your baby can now turn its head towards continuous, bright light. The heart now beats between 120 and 160 beats a minute (about twice as fast as yours). The airways are developing further and its grabbing the opportunity for lots of kicking while they've still got plenty of space.
