You're feeling huge and probably rather restless as the waiting game begins. You may have a sudden desire to tidy and spring-clean. This nesting instinct is very common and at least it gives you something to do as you wait! Soon, you'l be meeting your baby for the first time and that'll be worth every ache and twinge of the last nine months.
Your Baby
Your baby's head is now cradled in your pelvic cavity, surrounded and protected by the pelvic bones. They're about 51cm long and probably weighs about 3.4kg (girls tend to weigh less than boys, anything between 2.5 and 3.8kg is considered a healthy newborn weight) Your baby is finally ready for life outside your womb.
